02 For consultations at your desk

At your desk, face to face

Lay one phone flat between you and your client to plan the move: the flat, the school, the bank, the utilities. The screen splits in two, and your client’s half turns toward them. The rest of the family can follow on their own phones by link. Switch on the AI voice and it reads the translation out loud: you speak, it says it in their language; they answer, it says it in yours.

Recommendations and limits.

Here is where it shines at your agency, and where it needs a little help from you. We would rather you know before your first client.

The office Wi-Fi

At your desk and in the meeting room. The translation is a continuous stream, so it lives on a steady line.

The phone in the middle

Lay it flat between you and your client, close to whoever speaks. The better the sound in, the better the words out.

One speaker at a time

You, your client, then the partner or the teenager, with a short pause between you. On a phone, let the AI voice finish before you answer.

Destination services on mobile data

On the home search, at a school visit or at the bank, captions may pause and catch up on 4G or 5G. Use Pocket Translate there: it is built for the phone and picks up again after short dropouts.

What is Getix Translate for relocation agencies and gestorías?

Is Getix Translate a substitute for a certified interpreter?

No. It helps your consultants and your clients follow the conversation. It gives no legal advice, and our Terms (section 3A) do not allow its output to be the sole or decisive basis for decisions in legal or official matters. Official appointments, signatures and statements may need a human interpreter. It is not a substitute for a certified or sworn interpreter where one is required.

Does it work for video consultations on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Send the Getix Translate bot to the call and it joins under its own name, listed with the participants, and you admit it like any guest. Your client opens the captions link and reads in their own language, wherever they are before the move. Regular phone calls are not translated.

Where do our clients’ conversations go?

To our speech providers, to become text and translation. It does not go to a human, and we do not train AI models on your meetings. What kinds of providers we use, which region they run in and how long anything is kept is on our privacy page.

Does the whole family need an app or an account?

No. Your client reads on your phone, with their half of the screen turned toward them, or each family member reads on their own phone through a link you send or show. No account, nothing to install, and they can make the text bigger with A+. Turn on “New link each meeting” so a link from an earlier consultation never opens the next one.

How accurate is it with Spanish office terms?

Good enough to follow a consultation. Not good enough to sign on without reading. Names, dates, numbers and the Spanish names of offices and forms are where AI slips, which is why the original always stays on screen next to the translation. Switch on the Immigration term pack (key terms in Spanish, English, Russian and Ukrainian) and add your agency’s glossary, so the AI catches your words.

How much does it cost, and how does the free trial week work?

Plans run from €13.99 a month (Intern, 2 hours of live translation a month) to €169.99 (Boss, 45 hours a month for you and 5 team members). All prices include VAT.
